Obverse: Liberty Head with coronet on which LIBERTY is in raised letters, with star. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounding, date below.
Reverse: Thin laurel wreath enclosing Roman numeral V, ribbon at top inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST, with small Maltese cross near top (as die of J-631).
