1863 $10. Gold striking believed unique; copper pieces made in quantity, mostly with bronzed surfaces. An incredibly famous unique gold pattern issue with the trial motto "GOD IS OUR TRUST" on the reverse scroll. One known example pedigreed to the famous Garrett and Simpson collections, and recently graded PCGS Proof 64 Cameo.

Obverse: Regular Liberty die of the year.

Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with GOD OUR TRUST on scroll; die first used in 1861 for J-284.
