Details
1863 Silver Dollar. Transitional pattern produced at the Mint at a later date. The adopted seated dollar design struck on an aluminum planchet. Cameo surfaces.
Obverse: Regular Liberty Seated die of the year.
Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with motto IN GOD WE TRUST in ribbon above eagle; type adopted in 1866.
