1863 Half Dollar. A continuation of the experimental model began the series of 1861. Copper impressions usually with bronzed surfaces.

Obverse: Regular Liberty Seated die of the year.

Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with motto GOD OUR TRUST in plain letters in the field above eagle; first used on J-279.
