1850 Dubosq & Co. 10 Dollar Gold MS K-2 Values
Details
Prior to the 1980s, there were only six known Dubosq $10s -- two of which were impounded (one in the Smithsonian Institution, and the other in the collection of the Bank of California). In the mid-1980s, a pair were dug up in California, and another example was discovered in the wreckage of the S.S. Central America. Around 2010, a holed example was discovered in a box of California tokens. Today, the finest strictly original Dubosq $10 is a choice VF.
