Obverse Description

Dash (-) left from base of I

OBV. 8. S1B, S7UH-JCHb, S8C, S13LE. Stars well-formed and clear of milling. Date is 8 mm. with rather thick (broad faced) figures. Quickly recognized by the horizontal dash or bar just to the left of the base of one, where the one was first started too far to the left. (See O.112)

Reverse Description

Open depression in left corner of shield

REV. P. A1C, A2B, A3LH. 50 C. is 1 ¾ mm. and high, with the 5 much higher than O. A-A is slightly less than ½ mm. I centered under left side of T. R is higher at base than adjacent I. A1 is recut at right base. This reverse P die equals 1833, O.113, reverse L. (PR 65, PR 60, PR 60, PR 60) R.7 NOTE: This marriage may be available in only proof or presentation specimen strike. No known business strike specimens have been verified.
