Rarity ratings provided courtesy of the Bust Half Nut Club Rarity Ratings Committee as published in their 2020 BHNC study report.
Obverse: Stars 3, 4 and 8 recut OBV. 13. S1LE, S7UE-UHHb, S8B, S13UH. Stars close to milling and most are flat and irregular. S13 is ¾ mm. from curl. Date is 6 ½ mm. and high, with the 8 showing recutting at lower outside loop. Mouth slightly open, but not quite so open and upper lip is not quite so deformed as on obverse 12. One recut at lower serif. A fine die line shows on most specimens from top of star 13 along right side of curls.
Reverse: Sharp center dot, narrow arrowheads REV. N. A1UE, A2C, A3LH. 50 C. is 1 mm. and high. 5 has a short, heavy, straight top. There is a sharp center dot between crossbars 3 and 4. A diagonal defect line between stripes 3, 4 and 5 near the bottom. Arrowheads narrow and separated. A-A is 1 ½ mm. Several crossbars extend sharply to left of shield. The E in the scroll has also been removed and recut to the left, similar to the previous number. S recut at lower left. This variety, both obverse and reverse, is remarkably similar to the preceding number and possibly one is a reworked version of the other. Still there are enough specific differences that they must be considered different varieties. (65,65,64,64,64) R.1

All CDN prices are based on proprietary market knowledge and technology developed by CDN Publishing, LLC.
CPG® prices represent retail levels. Collectors should refer to CPG values as a starting place for their negotiations, or auction bid reference.
Greysheet/Greensheet prices are wholesale market levels for collectible coins/paper money intended to indicate what a dealer, or wholesale, buyer would pay for the described item in the specified grade. Greysheet/Greensheet represent "sight-seen" values based on a buyer's in-hand review. The actual value can be more or less than this depending on factors including eye appeal and market timing.
Bluesheet (NGC & PCGS) prices represent the highest sight-unseen offers to buy on dealer networks like CDN Exchange. In many cases, there are no active sight-unseen buy offers, so CDN looks to the recent lowest market values for such an item. For this reason, Bluesheet values typically represent the floor of the market for the specified item. CDN only tracks Bluesheet on certain items.
CAC prices are for U.S. coins that meet the standards of the Certified Acceptance Corporation. You can learn more about CAC on their web site.
Price movement is indicated for price changes in the last 30 days.
