Strong Results Achieved in Stack’s Bowers Galleries’ Fall 2025 Maastricht Auction

The catalog presented more than 450 lots from around the world, including rarities not offered for many years. The sale was anchored by several key collections, including selections from the Alfred Kugel Collection, the Jerry and Diane Fishman Collection, and the Meadows Collection. Especially strong prices were achieved for seldom-seen notes from the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and for rare French Colonial material from across the Francophone world.

The Maastricht International Fair (MIF) has become the premier show for world paper money. Reflecting this Maragoudakis noted: “Attaching this auction to what is the largest world paper money show has great advantages.
