Obverse Description
Fraser's design of the Native American with feathered headdress is featured prominently in identical design with the Buffalo nickel issues of 1913-1938. The word LIBERTY appears on the upper right periphery and the date embedded in a rock on the lower left.
Reverse Description
The iconic figure of the American Buffalo takes up most of the design with mottos, denomination, and the gold purity all included in this busy design.
