The United States utilized a two-cent coin for just ten years, from 1864 to 1873.
Only four other issues have a higher mintage than the 1884 making it a fantastic type coin due to the affordability. There were 3,942 originally struck in which most have survived. Common without cameo designations except for the finest of gems. Cameo coins are slightly scarcer with deep cameos being very rare.
