Obverse Description
2 has curled base and knobbed top OBV. 3. S1LH, S7UH-TOC, S8UE, S13B. S1 is 1 mm. Dr., serif of 1 is ½ mm. from drapery. (O.107 is only ¾ and ¼ mm. respectively) Date is 8 ½ mm. with large 8's. Late die states show a die crack that starts at edge below bust, across bust and field, to chin and ends in field at nose.
Reverse Description
2 lines of stripe 6 to crossbar 2 REV. F. A1UH, A2C, A3C. 50 C. is 1 ¼ mm. A-A is ¼ mm. Right side of T and left side of I in line. The center line of stripe 2 and first 2 lines of stripe 6 extend distinctly to crossbar 2. A few other lines penetrate weakly. A fine die crack at top of UNITED. Two horizontal die lines from eagles claw extending left under olive leaves, U in UNITED recut and very close, ¼ mm., to left wing. (see O.105) (63,63,62,60,60) R.4
